T Spec - Trackdays

Built as a special commission for a client as a specific track car with a touch of class and functionality, Middlehurst Motorsport have created the T Spec (Track Spec). Based on a 2009 model, The basic specification has seen us increase the power output to around 600bhp and the interior fitted with a 4 point roll cage, Recaro competition seats and full Alcantara refinish, including steering wheel.

Nissan GT-R T-Spec - By Middlehurst Motorsport

Middlehurst are able to produce variants on the T Spec for individual client needs.  Each build is project managed from start to finish, so you'll be dealing with the same person throughout, allowing the GT-R owner to have 100% input from the start of the project through to completion.  We are here to advise upon specification and compatibility.  As each build, and most specifically, the interior is bespoke we are able to build to your needs and taste.

Using the ECUTek RaceRom System and modified Transmission programming coupled to a resonated Milltek Y pipe and Miltek Exhaust System the power increase is just right for the track, around 600bhp.  People are often overawed by figures that are pushed out by various tuners as a major power output gives great bragging rights.  We prefer to be a little more dynamic and let the chassis and the driver have more of a creative input into the over scheme of things.

The best way for us to demonstrate this is on the track.  Even in stock form the GT-R is a very capable weapon on the track.  Few cars that come up against the GT-R are able to live with its ability, even in standard form.  We are great believers in making a GT-R stop and go around corners before we think about power.

The GT-R is drivetrain is cooled using high quality components from HKS. These items include transmission cooling and rear differential cooling. Changes to the suspension are minimal at this stage and are restricted to the ever popular Eibach Anti Roll Bar kit.  Our choice of suspension option on this set is the KW Clubsport kit that is 3 way adjustable and designed specifically for trackday usage.

The standard brake rotors have been replaced with a slotted AP Racing item that we assisted AP in develop back in 2008. The discs are mated to Ferodo DS2500 pads all around, giving excellent stopping power for the demands of a track day.  An option of AP Racing Carbon Ceramic brakes are also available.

However, the interior is what really sets this build apart from the rest. Refinished in genuine Alcantara the rear seats have been deleted and replaced with a bespoke rear seat deletion solution that is complimented by the addition of a 4 point M2 Automotive (Germany) roll cage. The interior is further enhanced with the fitting of 2 Recaro SPG seats with 4 point Sabelt Harness'.

Externally, this GT-R is a sleeper. The only hint that something might be different is the 'T Spec' badge that adorns the rear, giving the impression that something more might just be going on with this GT-R.
